I suddenly hear the sound of a cat meowing
And think of my cat
I search for the sound
Coming back into my room
I see its paw clinging to the window ledge
It wants to come in through the window
but it's too high
I see that its white paws are covered with mud
They are soaking wet
I wonder where he spent the night
