Kang Chunhui's Observing My Distant Self: Kang Chunhui 73°40'E~96°23'E 34°25'N~48°10'N is featured in the “ Collaborative Resonance” section of The 4th Xinjiang China International Art Biennial.
The 4th Xinjiang China International Art Biennial, themed "Pulse of the Hinterland," featured four main sections: "Digital Station," "Ecological Cipher," "Wisdom Integration of the Silk Road," and "Collaborative Resonance." Additionally, there will be a parallel exhibition titled "Symbiotic Realm—The Emergence, Development, and Contemporary Artistic Observations of Xinjiang’s Centenary Art," showcasing 263 works/groups from 14 countries.
The "Collaborative Resonance" section, curated by Wang Jing, aims to uncover a shared exploration of cultural foundations through diverse cultural and artistic expressions. At the crossroads of globalization and regional cultural interactions, various ways of existence and cultural traditions converge, collide, and resonate. The materials, methods, and forms of existence employed by the artists offer unexpected and intricate perspectives and philosophical reflections, contributing to a range of refreshing artistic explorations and practices worldwide.
