My big sister and my son are running together on a flat road that runs along a creek bed on the mountainside
On a little road in a forest grove
It is the first time I’ve run such a long way
My big sister and I are competing as we run
My son follows behind
As I run I discover that wild chrysanthemums are blooming all along the roadside and in the trees
I want to pick them, but there is no time
When I reach our door, I discover that there are several girls at the theater entrance selling bouquets of wild long-stemmed chrysanthemums

我和姐姐、儿子一起跑在山间的
一处山坡的平路上
在树丛中的小路上
我头一次跑这么长的路
姐姐和我在比着跑
儿子跟在后面
我在跑步中发现这儿的树上和路边
都开着很美的野菊花
我想摘可又来不及採
到了门口发现剧院门口有几个女孩
在那儿卖杆子
很长的一包包野菊花
